Wonder
It's funny how sometimes you get stuck on a certain idea, how no mater what happens you still want to stick to the original plan. I’m going to become an oceanographer...that’s the plan, the big dream...to find my own maranith, to save, protect, train and study my own Pete and Suzie..(you have to read this book called the” Fatal tide" by Iris Johansen to understand what I’m trying to saying....trust me it's amazing!!)..However there’s a big problem....I have no idea how to get there...how to take the first step towards my dream!!.....I finished my 12th grade and enthusiastically searched for universities/colleges with a bachelor’s course on marine sciences, only to find that the only institution offering this course was the Mangalore University and that they were shutting the course down due to lack of student applications....sooo frustrating!!!...ahh...but then I found out that an institution called the National institute of oceanography exited in Goa...my dreams started to grow again...I called the resource desk every day, sent them letters and mails frequently for weeks wanting to know more on the courses they offered and if I was eligible to apply.....three weeks later I received a mail from the institute saying that they were glad that I was so eager to join them but that they were sorry to let me know that they only offered post graduate courses...then my focus shifted...I was told by quite a number of people to do a bachelors course in environmental science and that this would be a good platform for me to apply for marine sciences later....and this is what I’m doing right now....
